This is nice to hear that NAFDAC did one thing right, hope we wont read in another few days that, that it was all motivated by another company, but then, even if it was, all that they said was founded is enuf to close that place down for good.

I believe NAFDAC observation was exagerated,I dont expect that from NAFDAC.
Let me tell u guys one fact ,I dont so much believe in NAFDAC,I guess u have to
(sowokuduru) regularly for u to remain in market as a food processing industry.
I visited a company approved by NAFDAC,I have nothing to hide, the company
is the one producing GINO tomatoe and JAGO milk. The premises is an eye sour.
The worker handling the tomatoe paste are always sweating like chrismas goat. The temperature
inside the factory is above 40 degree centegrade. No special storage for the imported raw materials,
they dump it all around the premises, some are there decaying and I believe they will mix it with fresh ones.
Only God is saving consumers in this Country.I will be happy if NAFDAC can visit this company in question and make a proper judgement.

moral of the story- cook and eat in your house, you can never trust fast food outlets.

apart from even hygiene, I think Nigerians are beginning to get used to fast food like a lot of other western countries and the result will be catastrophic- obesity and heart problems. I know some women who buy stuff from Mr. Biggs for their children to take to school everyday as "lunch" instead of taking their time to make a sandwich or something for the poor children and every Sunday they must have lunch there with the entire family. The next two generations will have a serious obesity problem in their adulthood.

Na today? I mean you guys have been eating this filth ever since when?Huh And yet nothing happened, now that yall got the news about the preparation of the filth, yall wanna start keeping your heads low.

This wont stop me from eating in these eateries, well My favourite has always been TFC, I rarely take a walk in that SS.

Besides if SS can be like this, then tanteez will be the worse amongst them all, I mean their outside self nor too pure, not to talk of the inside. Oh lord help us in Nigeria.

Anytime I went home, I would eat suya (from almost anywhere), mama 'put', roasted corn and anything you can think of; but when I ate at Sweet Sensation, I had a horrid case of food poisoning twice.

It is quite disappointing hearing this about sweet sensation. The eatery is my favourite for local delicacies, particularly ofada rice and pounded yam. It is a shame!
Hope TFC is better because I love their chicken and may now stick with them for other delicacies.

the reason why people are eating out more now is due to the low quality of life in cities.
you leave home by 6am to beat traffic and stick around the office till after dark in order to beat the same traffic.
on weekend there is so much extra curricular activities that by the time you realise it, monday is upon you.
when there is so little time to pause and catch you breath, how then can you cook indoors so much as to avoid these eateries?
people get back home so tired and fagged out that even conjugal activities are being negatively impacted talk less of cooking.

No---- many of you are mssing the point----the tub is for the sole purpose of mixing dough. Its not for bathing.

Trust me, 9ja people wouldn't care less if it was a "dough tub" , "bath tub" or "telly tubbie"
All they need to know is "tub" and sweet sensation is a write off as far as they are concerned.
lol

surface thinkers some of my people are. What if the tub was bought new just for that purpose?  Huh

Anyway check this out. The Almighty KFC is guilty of similar charge

Well you are right there Mbuela. Lagosians hardly breathe on friday before monday dawns again.
The thing is this one has to be able to manage one's life according to one's personal desire in Naija.
The responsibility is ultimately yours not the govt. Saner societies also deal wiv these issues but
you can be sure things will be done in the right way. here, once money changes hand, they will be
certified hygienic and who knows when the next inspection will be.

if it is used for that and ONLy that, i don't have a problem with it. What we should be more concerned with
is the hygiene of the tub and whatever equipment is used in making their food plus the whole environment.

You have said it all,you leave home by 4am,5am,6am,and then come back 7pm,8pm,9pm,10pm,by this time you are fagged out all you think of is your bed and then by the time the wake up alarm sounds, its like you have barely slept for 2hours,and with sleepy eyes you grudgingly take your bath and you are out without breakfast,so when you get to work no other choice other than this eateries. And also patronizing this mama puts is almost inevitable, cos if you eat food from this eatries for a week, you wud get fed up,cos if u know how to cook, you wud know they cook crap, the jollof rice fried rice, and even local dishes is pure tasteless crap.Maybe the enticing thing about their food is chicken which you also get fed up with in no time,we spend an outrageous and exorbitant amount of money to eat food that is not tasty or palatable, yet they cant ensure simple hygiene in preparing such food, Tantalizers which happens to be my favourite,is getting all the bashing here, chei, Its only God oh
