Nairaland Front Page Design Vs Big Board Front Page Style

 Recently, The admin sought the opinion of nairalanders concerning new design of the front page. i have been on several other forums such as warrionforum ,forum.digitalpoint and nigeriabestforum  all these use the big board style front page and still have enoumous traffic especially the first two. Nairaland has the RECENT TOPIC features which is a different style.
    my question here is which in your opinion do you think is better or preferable. the big board style or the one we have here OR  do you think it does not really matter THE CONTENT OF THE FORUM IS WHAT MATTERS>
