The people of Annamaria is becoming nuisance to the igbos,i am igbo myself but i have been observing the trends going on in Annamaria politics they seem not to have a consensus mindset for the betterment of their people and the eastern region in general, they are the ones causing the insults the igbos keeping on receiving from the rest of the federation.they should bear it in mind that the north is not interested in the development of the east for they are looking for every excuse again to bring the igbos down,by every means at their disposal, all the game is to make Annamaria UN-governable so that they will carry out their final onslaught. The Ibo leadership should be extremely careful in the way they are handling the politics of the east.Annamaria people should look at themselves and realize that they are a problem to the igbo race, from the time of Zik to the present day even during the civil war they are the ones always causing the problems of instability.igbos should know we have shed enough blood and we dint need those who pretend to  love us to come and settle our differences.

I await insightful response from the below named persons as per how this relates to their stand on the Biafran Cause.

1. Dede1
2. Naijaking
3. Udezue
4. Ezeagu
5. Sjeezy8, and
6. Afam.

First of all I want an essay from you detailing my stance on the "Biafran cause", then I would like for you to analyse the link with which this thread has with a supposed "Baifran cause". Lastly you can also explain what led you to put my name in the list of people you requested "insightful" responses from.

@ agor1974 = a real goat! Grin

Why are people making a noise about a statement from a criminal gang called PDP and their hirelings Grin  Huh The PDP thieves are only trying to cow Ojukwu to enable them steal Anambra and from there other Igbo states. Why is the Uba brothers so powerful in Anambra state? Huh Are they the only rich Anambra citizens? Huh What makes them so powerful? Answer- FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA.

So, when people cannot find the nexus between stolen elections in Anambra state and a possible civil war, it shows how little they know about Nigerian history. As we speak, there are already armed people in Niger delta and there are growing numbers of armed people in the south east. How long do you think it would take before those armed people said enough? Huh

Like I said in another post, "Ojukwu" signifies the indomitable spirit of the Igbo and other former Eastern Nigerians. Ojukwu is old and tired, but what he stands for, what he represents, his place in the hearts and minds of an overwhelming majority of his people is of legendary proportions. Nigeria should thank God and appreciate that Ojukwu is still alive, because, the day he dies is the day his legend will cross rational proportions.

As we speak, he is the ONLY ONE in Igboland challenging a federally armed and nurtured brigandage and theft of peoples votes. Where are the fake Biafra veterans on these issues? Huh Where are the PDP thieves on these issues? Huh Where is Ohanaeze on these issues? Huh There is only one Ojukwu. Only him is courageous enough to challenge what needs to be challenged in Igboland. Igbo did not call him "Ikemba" for nothing. For indeed, he is our courage, might, valliance, fortitude and grit.
Ignore him at your own peril! Cool

Many of the Biafra soldiers died and some use crouches to walk but Ojukwu was not injure because he can afford flying abroad. Thank God his surviving soldiers and his people did not honour him as hero went he return from running away (exile).

Base on the recent comment of his people, I think Ojukwu will cease to use his biafra threat for his personal political gain.

A military dictator during the biafran cause who prefered to squander a lot of lives needlessly just to propergate his own pipe dreams. Really, I think Ojukwu belongs to the past together with the Obasanjos, IBBs, Danjumas, Clarks. These Thwarts have cost more problems for this Nation to last many generation.
This is a man who relegated the Igbo political class including the likes of Zik and micheal okpala and took his people to doom by fighting a war with propaganda alone and no guns. I only blame our media and people who still has any regards for this brat. Embarrassed
Well he hardly has any say in Anambra politics anyway.

You couldn't miss an opportunity to turn any issue of Ojukwu into another Biafran thread? Igbos are the only major tribe where people routinely get up to challange their leaders, and it's for good.

Yes it can lead to a civil war if the people of Anambra revolts and gira gira  starts from there. Look what happened in Ekiti. Worst could happen in Anambra and it could escalate to a PDP versus who knows who? And worst still it could give rise to a Massob revolt driving South East into peril again. After that, Niger Delta and trust Yorubas are waiting for an excuse to show they are not cowards. Nigeria is in a sensitive state right now and anything could trigger anything good or bad. So those Veterans are the ones who are not learning from past lessons. It was about who will rule in the past and it'll be about who will rule again in the present. I think those veterans need to learn how to analyze situations. If they were really veterans of the Biafra war, they will know situations like this are what led to Biafra. I doubt they are veterans at all. Besides Ojukwu is only stating the facts. Same thing he stated back then and no one listened (I read the Aburi conference thread). If what that thread said about Aburi conference or whatever the name of the conference was is true, then I think Ojukwu deserves our two ears when he speaks.

Many folks here just hate the guy because he's Igbo not because they believed the rumour that he drove millions to their death.  it's not true that he drove millions to their death but if I'm to judge by what people are typing on Nairaland about him, they hate him cause he is Igbo and cause he wanted Nigeria to divide. Most hate him cause of the former.

This is not a platform for you Yoruba bashing Igbo idiots to open your stinking mouths and bash Yorubas again ooo.

It’s funny how any thread with Igbo, Biafra or our Dike-Di-Ora-Nma of Igboland and the Ikemba Nnewi becomes very popular with Nigerians. Give this thread few days of grace and come back to counts the number of empty cans trying to piss themselves about a man so brave, rich without the usual Nigerian syndrome of stealing from the poor, well read, well educated, well privilege, of which they will only day dream of untying his shoes.

Nigerians always remind us how Ikemba led his people to die but I want to ask them who this his people are and why re they not complaining? Those that spent their energy crying over what doesn’t concern them. Crying more than the bereaved.

They will never tell us how much night sleep AWOLOWO or AKINTOLA lost when they staged their Yoruba civil war in the 60s?

How many people died between Ife/Modakeke civil war Awolowo stage?

How much sleep does Akin Omoboriowo/Michael Ajasin lost during the 80s in the old Ondo that claimed thousands of life? Or Abiola vs. Bisi Onabanjo in 1979-83?

The civil war between Bola Ige and Victor Oluloye in the 80s that claimed thousands of life in Ibadan-Ogbomosho axis, who was leading them and who lost any sleep?

When Abiola ran away to the U.K after an election he was supposed to have won as he was told his life is in danger from northern power drunk boys, I HAVEN’T HEARD ANY INSULT about him running away, not even in a real war but aftermath of an election.

The whole of Yoruba elite went into exile because of Abacha but alas we haven’t heard the haters calling them cowards or for them to have come back and finish the Afenifere they started.

Like I kept reminding the haters, always check the rafter in your eyes before you start pointing out the little leaf on someone else’s.  They seem to believe that if they concentrate on Igbo affairs, we will forget theirs. As we speak, there is still fire burning in EKITI and OSUN but haters have conveniently put it to sleep.

How about your baboon looking leaders, one in Kirikiri and one in Otta ill-gotten farm, is it okay to talk about them? How many of their people through their stealing of your collective wealth have they sent to their graves?
If you believe in yourself mindless brain that ojukwu led Igbos to die for nothing as you have called it, how many people had Obasanjo killed since 1978 till date but he still call the short in your land?

Ikemba used his personal wealth to feed his people under a difficult circumstances and we are proud of him and if you don’t like it, it’s not our fault that all those you call leaders both past/present, living/dead are all rogues ,ex convicts and international thief thief.

Of course not, because Ikemba Nnewi has sneezed and all hail broke loose and he is supposed to be irrelevant, spent force we were told?
Millions and millions of British people died during the first and second world wars but the man that led them in the second Winston Churchill led a life till the very old ripe age and died.
He is today a British icon and one had accused him of leading his people to their dead. So was Mrs Thatcher in the 80s against Argentina in the Falklands nd no one is calling Maggie that he led his people to die.

All the rubbish from haters of Ojukwu is borne out of frustration. They wanted a war trophy to parade on the streets of Lagos but it never materialized, that is their annoyance and isn’t going to happen in 2009 or for ever.

Thanks Eziachi, you really understand what Ikemba means in this matter; that Anambra should be careful to avoid any much problem on themselves because he knew how and what causes the former civil war so that such a thing will not repeat itself but people misunderstood him.

They should sit down and think for the betterment of their people.
