this is not a tough question, if you think the relationship will progress, then you need to get tested. For now, use a condom and as you progress in the relationship , you two can go get a test to put all at easy. You can ask for sexual history whether they tell you the truth is another issue. ONly way to know is on paper. Any woman will be happy if you suggest this.
