I really dont understand certain comments. 1. You "think" it is illegal to "impose" religion on others (how you deduced that is a mystery) . . . but there is NO LAW for such in Nigeria so really thats a moot point. 2. you purport tithe "assumed" the girl was a christian . . . err i suppose tithe must have known the girl and whether she attended church or not. Its possible you're the one assuming here. |

Assuming he knew she wasn't interested in Christianity before he bought that book, it would be a double offense: a horrible gift and a disrespect to her beliefs. Anyways since we are in Nigeria where everybody, even native doctors, claim to be Christians I believe he took it for granted that she was a christian. And even though she was, a Bible is still a bad gift for such a day |
