Exactly, expired news to cause disharmony in Delta State. Add to that the denial of Ika heritage and some war stories and you can see where this could all end up.

The militants should be picking out known corrupt politician, whether an huasa, yoruba, igbo, delta or edo miscreants, instead of sabotaging installations and putting the lives of innocent nigerians in more jeopardy.

War is barbaric,it is a crude option, there are better ways to solve problems

Haven't you heard of systematic elimination boy?.If the militant have the fire power they claim to have, they can undertake such mission without making the problem worse for the people, but because they themselves are corrupt and motiveless, they won't have the liver to take care  of corrupt people.

I know that guy into-to,he is a bit of every thing, good, bad, ugly, ball player, authoritative, kind, mean, crude, civilize, every thing put together,he is typical nigerian, but not totally in a foolish way.

In as much as what he said is seen as sensitive but deep down, the militants seems to be as greedy, visionless, purposeless, selfish and as child like as the people they are fighting.

The problem of nigeria is concept, people don't seem to understand the fundamental meanings of life.It is not something to fight for,but something to live out for the good and comfort of all.You don't fight for what belongs to you,we have enough to go round but what we lack is common sense, good old intelligence.

Ignorant bullshit.

Ken Saro Wiwa was a "rational king"; so were the 9 others executed with him; so were the the inhabitants of the 20 communities erased by "fellow Nigerians"; so were the 50,000 innocent souls, snuffed out by those who should have kept them secure.

There is little point engaging your mindset in any form of discussion. All I can I advice you is, read through the contributions of those from the ND on this thread, and deduce if they think your "far from reality" stance is useful to their welfare. Let that be your cue, I bow out.

How will you know the difference when you are just consumed in your illusion? You are comparing me with ken as if i am ken Saro-Wiwa,i am and i am going to live my life as me and reach out those i can reach out to at all necessary cost.

An average nigeria adult reasons like a child and that is what the bunch of militants are, purposeless.

I feel sorry and ashamed for the Obi of Owa and the entire people of Owa kingdom who allows a dumb and unintelligent kind to rule them.A man who is not attune to the present happenings of the day.First and foremost,Maiduguri depends on the Niger Delta region for its allocations due to the oil money which is shared amongst the 36 states and the FCT.What the Obi of Owa doesnt know is that where were the so called Federal Govt when the likes of Ken Saro Wiwa where agitating peacefully for a resource control? Now,the present govt has listened to the so called militants to development the Niger Delta region because the only way the militants could be heard is to fight and fight until they were heard.
The Obi of Owa is so senseless that he does not know the word deprivation and exploitation that this region has been facing.Infact, the development of his bushy place Owa is as a result of the same oil money, what does Owa contribute to the Delta State Government?Infact,he is just been jealous that the boys are not from his town. The Ika speaking people have been known for criminality over the years, even one of his Kings was killed as a result of arm robbery. So why is he squirming? He is not fit to be a king in this region, because he is coward and a sell out.He is afraid of the Hausa people, and even the Hausa people were amongst those that urged the Amnesty because they know how they have exploited the region.
Shame to you,the Owa people for allowing a man with diarrhoea of the mouth to rule you people. All we need now in this region, are people with sound education and judgement, that bold and courageous, not the likes of the rotten Obi of Owa,whose mouth is a gutter, and whose heart is a chicken one.

it is very funny that some IKA men say he is not IBO, that is a result of failure in civil war,if Biafra had suceeded they will not ever say so,Ika man answer such surname as okoro, dumbiri,Ebu,ifeanyi,Chukwuma,Ikechukwu, onwubuya, onwudinjo, aliagu, etc, their king title is obi.Even some Illah people say they are not Ibos, funny, some body who answer otutodilinna, uzor, okolie, olisa, chukwudiegwu, etc claim they are not ibos.
Ika  language is a form of Ibo language, just like nsukka language, abakiliki language udi, nkanu,Afikpo, owerri, etc are differnt form of ibo languages.Aniocha speaks their own form of ibo language ,so do kwale, ukwuani,Aboh, etc.they all speak ibo.The fact remain that any person can deceive him/herself but u cant deceive the world.

Peter Odili was reminded that he is an ibo man during his presidential campaings ,it was boldly written a a national daily by a group,so llet the people who want to deceieve themselves continue, when the time reach they will be reminded(not told)

as per the obi,he is a nigerian and is entitled to freedom of speech, what he said is his own opinion and should not be insulted for doing so.

Their Obi may have made a remark that is not in sync with the general opinion within the region either due to selfish considerations in the sense that he probably wanted the FG to see him as "loyal",but I don't think it's enough reason to insult his people who obviously did not ask him to speak for them and I don't tyhink he said he spoke on their behalf,so ease up on the Owa people, except you have another hidden beef for them  Grin Grin.
IMO he is speaking for himself as he is even supposed to be more loyal to his community, state, then FG in that order.Maybe if his palace had been bombarded he wouldn't talk in that manner,in any case, the boys have become wiser, nobody listens to let downs like the Obi anymore,so he can blab all he likes,he's on his own
