Yes, she's a beaut, watched my first movie with her in yesterday (Guilty Pleasures).

Will look out for Reloaded.

Good movie although (as usual) her role was diminished by the clearly manly bent in the story. She is passive all through, unclear of her cues (comes out as hesitant action) and seems to act only in response. For a character (celebrity model in the movie) she seems to have no action of her own and the story ends up accentuating sibling mischief between Ramsey and  what is his name? She is more appealing in reloaded although that movie should not have been conceived in the first place. waste of talent-hours.

quick question:

why do Nollywood and even Ghollywood tend to cram as many faces and images as possible on their movie covers?  Is it an African thing?

advertisement? Huh Mass appeal? Huh

Compare:

I could be wrong in my observations however.

You are right.
It is a cheaper marketing thing basically as well as a cultural issue, have you ever seen Tyler Perry's movie covers? everyone gathers on the cover too lol.
The only Nigerian movie I have seen pass that test is RMDs Out of Bounds movie

I have seen Guilty Pleasures, its one of the better Nollywood movies I have seen in a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG while and she was fantastic, she really came into her own with that role. Apart from Genevieve and Ini(to some extent), I never believe the characters some of these Nollywood actresses are portraying. Shouting with a fakeassed British or American accent doesnt make you a great actress Grin

  Filmography:

Nice movie by Desmond Elliott

Can detect the Spike Lee influence with the narration/commentary style and production

Big up to the movie and casts

i havent watched it yet.

I'm just commenting on the cover. Most Nigerian movies look like that.

we really ought to pay more attention to these little details even if the audience doesnt notice things like that. It still matters.

we have too many ITs and computer people nah.

I guess its a cultural thing.

i just finished watching a couple of movies with Nse Ikpe and she seems like a pretty good actress.
maybe i will have to watch more movies of her to make a real judgement.
but when she speaks she kinda sounds like rita dominic, in a way.
i like her, she's not bad.
