Why Has President Yar Adua Refused To Have The Monthly Presidential Chat?
« on: November 06, 2009, 03:02 PM »

Over the past 2+ years His Excellency, President Umaru Yar adua and some of his lieutenants  have  complained about not getting enough recognition and respect both from Nigerians and foreigners. If he really wants to achieve a good public image, why does he not present himself monthly to Nigerians on National Television and Radio to explain and defend his policies. If his predecessor did this, it is quite striaght forward logic that he should continue, or what do you think? Government officials should pass this thought on to him.

Rebranding Nigeria can start from there.

Believe it or not, Yar Adua and other Malams before him only speak to the BBC Hausa service, monitored in Gusau.

How can a sick man predict whether he will be healthy enough to give a speech at a designated time every month?

That's a reflection of his apathy towards his own government.

Which policies? There is nothing for him to defend. Same reason why he went to Saudi when he ought to be in UN
