Mozambique coach Mart Nooij has assured Nigerians that if the Super Eagles take care of business in Nairobi, the Mambas will deliver them the World Cup ticket.

“You have to finish your own competition well in Nairobi. Just beat Kenya and wait for a good result, which will come in from Maputo stadium,” Nooij said in a radio interview with Nigeria's Brila FM.

The Dutch coach pointed out that Mozambique under him had only lost once in 12 games at the Maputo Stadium and said Nigeria have an obligation to qualify for the World Cup

“Mozambique have played 12 matches, friendly and qualifiers and we win eight of these matches, draw three times and lost only one time, so I don’t believe we will lose this match against Tunisia. We can have a draw, but we will fight for victory.

“I think Nigeria have an obligation to go to the World Cup. They have a good squad of wonderful players.

“You are two points behind Tunisia right now but that is not a big deal. We can try to beat Tunisia otherwise, it will be a draw and then you can beat Kenya by two goals and qualify.”

Mozambique host Tunisia on November, at the same time as Nigeria play Kenya in Nairobi.

I think Amodu should take this seriously. U cant have it elsewhere. Its like a scratch- my- back- and- i'll - scratch-yours kind of deal . Infact  Amodu should lend Mozambique Osaze + Martins + Ayegbeni to 'do their job'. I think we can handle Kenya with some mediocrity. If that man doesnt have something better to say on Naija airwaves, he had better go to Maputo and farm on white man's backyard. Woh, God help U say Ure not in naija, otherwise Ajegunle boys would have texted U a slap for insulting us that way. We fall honorably on our own terms. Naija for life.

A statistics that gives hope.

This reminds me of a friend that said 'Nigeria would have gone to train the Mozambicans in order to beat Tunisia'. I can't stop laughing, the same Nigeria that cannot beat Tunisia teaching another team how to beat Tunisia. Eni ti o daso fun ni, t'are e lanko wo.

The game has got to the brink. At this level, desperation is it.
A deal is needed by Mozambique. "Help me to help you"
Nigeria need Moz as well as Moz needs Nig.
Symbiotic relationship.
My take is that Nigeria seems not so desperate as these nations do.
I have been shuttling btw Kenya & Uganda.
Eagle needed to have camped in East africa to acclamatized a week b4 the match.

From my experience in East Africa,
The altitudes are high.
While most places in Nigeria fall btw 0-500 metres above see level, Except in Jos areas.
East Africa falls btw 1250-2600 m above sea level. even above 3000m in some hilly areas.

Tiredness is easy here for we that were brought  up in low altitude areas.

In Uganda, they always remind me of beating Eagles on the road to Germany 2006.
While their equalizer against Nigeria in Abeokuta was fraudulently dissallowed.

Why was that feat possible for Cranes of Uganda.

Simple, the altitude advantage.

Jumping into plane on thursday 12th of November, arriving in Nairobi late same day means Eagles will only train on friday.
And jump on the pitch on Saturday.

To me even if Mozambique do their part, is Nigeria serious at all with all our Gamblings?

All we need is to do our best and let God do the rest.

But in Nigeria's contest, It is fold my arms and let God do it all.

Let,s wait and see whether we will still throw away the slim chance remaining.

I mentioned this when we drew in Mozambique people here really showed their ignorance on this very day, it was so shocking,  Argentina lost heavily in Bolivia and Equador why because they thought they could turn up and play,  its eneryg sapping in those areas, Lennox Lewis fought in South Africa and he arrived 2 weeks before the fight he got knocked out in the fifth round because it was claimed that he was tired but Rahman spent 6 weeks in J'burg training and adjusting to the environment

The Super Eagles should be super charged for this match.
It is our right to be at the 2010 Mundial. Now bite me.   Cool
