When i started school in 1970 the books we had were of "White hero's" That discovered Things in Africa or did so many good deeds like Mongo park for example.
The first reading book i had in Ibo started with _{Le beke ,beke mara mma}  i know i got the spelling wrong but translated it goes like Look at the white man  the white man is fine.
These books were the left overs of the colonial syllabus i guess.
But soon after there came a revelation and we started learing our history from an other point of view and started reading books written by black historians.
The above link is just a small example.
We all in Nigeria know about the slavetrade and know that it had its effects on us.
But i think as of that time anyone captured was For those left behind "Dead".
We Bury our Dead and move on.
People should not think that we do not care or that we are A "White man" echo.

let those who hate white people realise that some white people are good too.
and all those who don't like white people (despite some sacred affiliations with whites  ) should do the simple thing. pack and leave their land. unless u are african american, other blacks came here freely on their own or their parents came freely, so they caan still pack and go.

treat people as they come. if u see a racist white avoid him/her. if u encounter nice once, please be civilised and friendly.

you don ever see the one wey come tell you say I'm be racist? Na the time wey e don put knife for ya throat you go find out say na racist and by that time, e don too late for you and ya civilised friendliness
