What is a phobia?
A phobia is the unrelenting fear of a situation, activity, or thing that causes one to want to avoid it. Phobias are largely underreported, probably
because many phobia sufferers find ways to avoid the situations to which they are phobic to.
Fears of midgets, haunted houses, helmets, pickles, and feet are just a few of the less common phobias and may be considered strange by some
but can be just as debilitating as those phobias that are more common. Agoraphobia often coexists with panic disorder. Very few people literally go
berserk in a phobic situation, but their reactions prevent them from accomplishing the things that they could normally accomplish.

Some of these people need some whupping . Mine is fear of cockroaches. I get dizzy just at the sight of one. And if I even manage to kill one  . . . . it gets me puking every time. Now that's a serious phobia to complain about. Fear of Number 13 ko, fear of Alphabeth W ni. |

@madlady, woooww!! Then that's a new one they probably haven't named yet. But it's a realistic fear, esp when there's even a warning all the time to "Mind the gap". I'm afraid of trains too but for a very different reason - too ridiculous to mention. Take heart, dear, I'm sure you're not alone  . @pureminded Que?? Never heard of fear of some insects? I'm flipping serious about the cockroaches phobia. Just thinking about one, gets me heaving. Abeg dress make the therapist do his thing . |

@ madlady ROTFLMAOooohhh. . . !! In fact, nothing but an Olympic-style flying leap will do!! Both unto the train and off!! My sista, I don't form when it comes to that o! People look at me funny but I'm too relieved that I made it over that dreaded gap. In fact, you just made me aware of a phobia I didn't even know I had!! This train-gap thing sef, I'm sure therapist can find a name for it . @ pureminded. . . . this might be hard to believe, but I totally feel you about the travelling!! I can stay put in one location for ages because I just dread getting on the road - or in this case, the air. Hmmn, looks like we all have some fears in common!! |

What abt fear of eating fish & any other aquatic creature?
I cant eat anything aquatic without throwing up! No matter the type of fish.
But i can eat meat, & poultry products.
So i know am not a vegetarian
