My friend did her youth service in kano and came back looking like the back of a pot.She said the sun there was very hot and they had to be under the sun " serving " Nigeria. Now she trying to get her complexion back but nothing seems to be working.She has tried black opal day and night cream, olay range of products and so white but there is no visible improvements. Any suggestions of what else she could use?

let her try neutrogena visibly even range of products.the cleanser,scrub,daily moisturiser n night cream,it should help even out her skin tone or maybe clean n clear products.

Toning/Bleaching, in general, is neither healthy nor advisable. But if you must do it, do it PROFESSIONALLY - - - Go and see your dematologist . . .

She's done that and it was the said dermatologist that gave her the black opal range which did nothing for her skin

there are good skin care line to use to make your instead of lightening products. the palmer's line is great.

Many northerners are light skinned. How do they stay that way?

Well it depends on her natural complexion. If she's used 2 be chocolate or even lighter she can use Fair and white, the pink one together wt d soap(pink too). Then complement it with Aloe vera gel(fruit of the earth) 2 avoid sun burn. It tones naturally as opposed 2 harsh bleaching which is not advisable. Good luck 2her
