This is one of my favourites; it's really good, if a little violent.

No not really, sorry :/  It was pretty popular like a year or two ago which was when I read it. To buy, Bookworm (V/I if they still exist) might have it but it'll probably be ridiculously overpriced. . . I would have said NuMetro (or whatever they're called now) but when I was home at Christmas, they were quite dry so I don't really know.

Shoo! For this computer age, people still dey read hardcopy novels?
I've got about 50 e-novels of the best authors ranging from danielle steele, robert ludlum, frederick forsyth, john grisham,Jeffrey Archer, dan brown, sidney sheldon, judith McNaught, jackie collins etc on my lapy, so its being long I read a hardcopy novel.
The only thing is everytime I switch on my lapy with the 'supposed intention' of reading one of my novels, I end up watching a film instead.
I'm afraid my reading habit has gone down over the years.

Hmmm, I just finished re-reading The 11th Commandment by Jeffrey Archer though. Its my favourite J.Archer and I first read it around '99.

I've just started on another espionage novel - Icon by Frederick Forsyth. So far, so good.

oh my god  Shocked
"The Thing Around Your Neck" is amazing, i read it in 4 hours straight. But i didn't buy it though, i rented it from a local library. I'm Chimamanda's number 1 fan Grin.

Just finished readind "Over A Thousand Hills I Walk With You" by Hanna Jansen about the Rwandan Genocide. An actual real life story told by a survivor, a young girl who lost her whole family to the war ,   Cry. It's the kind of stuff you categorise as lifechanging.

Currently on "The Icarus Girl" by Helen Oyeyemi. I'm finding it ,   Undecided weird.

Just finished reading The Best Laid Plans by Sidney Sheldon. Funny, i wrote a short story with the same title some time last year - you can imagine my surprise when i first saw the novel, in fact my first thought was, "now everyone will think i copied Sidney Sheldon's work." Embarrassed Embarrassed

Saw some earlier replies on Follet's Pillars of the Earth, so i went and got an e-copy of the book. So far, it ain't bad yet . . . that is, if you like ancient cathedrals Wink
