I'm In Love With My Boss
« on: January 09, 2007, 05:11 PM »

There was such great chemistry between us at my interview! I've been on the job for a year now.  We've had our ups and downs but we've survived.

Now i'm considering leaving the job this year as we can't be seen together and thats so hard for me.  However, the harsh economic reality of this country is holding me back because I really like the pay.  What do I do? Cry

If you love your boss and the pay as you said, there's no need for you quitting the job

The story of my life!

I also have feelings for my boss and it really complicates things because I think he also has something for me. Infact its so bad that I cry when he's upset with me or reprimands me for anything and so, I try really hard not to make any mistake.

I think its a good thing though, as it makes me very careful and hardworking.

The danger however, is that my colleagues in the office are beginning to pass silly comments about this. Many people are saying we're banging each other, although it isn't true. I have even been accussed of flirting with the guy.

Fire, is your boss married?

This simple question is equal to a whole subforum.

Is your boss married?

I think this is a rhetoric if he actually is, no need to go further - You are on your own. We'll keep praying for you. Lips sealed

 THINGS TO CONSIDER
what is your age difference?
is the love coming from one side?
is he married?
is he presentable?
does he have what it take to  be called a husband and a father?
does he have tendency to cheat or drink?
are the one forcing your self on him?
has he let you know his intensions towards you
the answers to these question is left to you to decide if your boss deserves you

First, you must understand that Boss - Employee relationship is the begining of the downfall of an organisation. If u love you boss (if he is not married), u can quit your job and go for him. If u don't want to quit your job, then leave the man alone. It is a very difficult task though, but with persistence, you will make it.

Yes Andy,

Either way, she must quit her job. The office is a sacred place and when the Head and the sub head have an affair, it's 9-11 WTC crash all the way!

If you can't leave him, quit your job Grin

lol

It's a bad idea to see people you work with especially your boss, try your best to crush those feelings it's probably not that strong anyway. Long ago(lol seems like years) anyway when i was working at a certain organisation and fell or thought i was in love with this guy , every time he approached me i would stutter, we always seemed to catch each other's eyes, i dressed to work for him, i was obsessive about our work toilet, checking my hair, face, clothes  sad very sad lol . Christmas part we had perfect opportunity guys were coming over to our table to ask if there was a chance for their man , blah blah, he is so into me blah blah , Anyway alarm bells rang from there and i stopped drinking str8 away( i don't like laddish behaviour). Only to find out later that he went clubbing after our xmas party with this other girl and from there they went to get down and it was the topic of convo for weeks and they didnt even make it past first night lol Boy was i glad i never let my silly feeling get in the way. The last thing you want is to be topic of convo at lunch times, please i can't bear that not in the work place. CRUSH THAT FEELING---but has he expressed thesame feelings for you??

What makes u think she doesn't? The guy should make the first move not the lady Grin In that case, make sure you have an alternative employment letter (from Chevron) before "deadly proposing", no run down o Grin

What can not be explained is always the food for grapevine!

If u love your boss and u are sure its LOVE, please love him to a logical conclusion

Ah let them say ke?

Once the boss is done, you'll lose both the boss, the job and your reputation. (bosses are players - that's a secret!) They've done it with other employees before, and this is just a fling! Shocked
