University Classes

hi you all, please i'm about to enter into the university, unilorin to be precise, and i would like to know some specific things, at least so that i don't go there and start fooling around.

i'm going in to study industrial chemistry, how are normal university classes arranged, do they have special lecture rooms for year one students, year two, year three and so on or are they all joined together.
