Nairalanders, your boy need some help here. i use a nokia 6600, and i browse comfortably with it using CELTEL wap gprs service. how can i configure it with my desktop PC, so that i could browse with my PC via connectivity. its urgent peeps. respond here or better still my box : psymunsez2002@yahoo.com |

install your nokia pc suite and usb driver then open dialup networking use wap as user name and password then no *99#

hi,guys i use celtel, but i don't know the procedures or the codes i would send to get my phone activated to the internet, please i would love you guys to give me the info. and as for the setting it up on the PC, do i have to get a software for my phone, i don't understand the whole stuff, could you please break it down, i would really appreciate it. u'll have to get the software for your phone and install it as a modem. then create a connection in dial up networking wizard

@felly am also experiencing that same problem with some other people on this forum and we still looking for a solution but its more of a celtel issue cause your settings are intact. try with an mtn sim it would work

@adewaleafolabi,it works perfectly with it because there was a time i used it download some braindumps,it work although,it wipes off d 1000 naira credit on my phone.ever since that,i've not bn browsing on mtn

@felly i was speaking to someone some minutes ago and he said celtel was restricting people on purpose cause some have been using it for fraudulent purposes and that hasn't been going down very well with the NCC.

adewale, thanks for the information, i tired it for MTN, but men the thing chop my money, i learnt that celtel is free, but when i tried it, it didnt go. i call their customer service, and they told me that they are upgrading their system, whatever, but are u using it presently to browse.

Ah! thot i was d only guru that knew about this pc internet over celtel. didnt knw d gist had gone wide. well, i'm still a guru because i've done it over infrared, bluetooth and now usb cable (been doin it for a ages now). cable's fastest. mind u i use a sagem x6-2. it should work for c-5 also. hit me for more 08029537095

I use motorola L6.my laptop instals it as a modem while connecting it shows that it's connected but the internet explorer wont load anything.Please cl'd someone help !
