The Best, Most Thought Provoking And Most Well-participated Thread Of 2006

So here, I thought we should give credit to whom credit is due, perhaps someone could be inspired.

I don't say I'm a judge here, but I was just thinking if we could nominate:

The Best, Most thought provoking topic and most well-participated thread of 2006:
- criteria: thought provoking discussion which was well participated, discussed and thrashed out,
-  well participated in the area of solid information and inputs people gave, (not just the length of the discussion), which made and held up the thread as really interesting.

so please, the floor is open.
Kindly include the Thread title/topic and link to such in your posts.
