Two abducted in Badagry
By Agency Reporter
Published: Saturday, 14 Apr 2007
Two stalwarts of the Action Congress in Badagry, Lagos, were on Thursday reportedly abducted by unidentified persons.
The victims, Wakilu Akeushola and Ebenezer Whenu, were alleged to have been kidnapped at their homes in Torikoh area and No. 1 Celestial Street, Itoga, Badagry, early on Thursday by five men in a white pick-up van.

The Divisional Police Officer for Badagry, Mr. Abdullahi Shehu, told the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday that one of the abducted persons, Akeushola, was reported to have only recently defected to AC from a rival party.

Shehu said while Akeushola was reported by his family to have been kidnapped at about 8 a.m., just tying a towel, Whenu was reportedly abducted earlier by the same group at about 6 a.m.

Shehu said the abduction of politicians by unidentified persons was a novel development in the political history of the country, but added that the motive for the crime had yet to be ascertained.

He said the police was investigating the incident, and expressed the hope that the victims would soon be set free.

Can you see the PDP and Koro at work? God save us from this desperate Korossion?

Star01,
If you have families in Lagos you can call them to ask for who Obanikoro is and what he represents don't talk to anybody that is related to Koro but a neutral and see what they would have to say.
If you intend to come to Lagos someday and meet Lagos in good condition, say no to Koro because if Koro enter that is empowering the area boys

@ Star01,
As at last count Ibadan does not have an international airport. So you still have to pass through Lagos so you are in for it.
You know Ibadan well, Koro is the Lagos equivalent of Adedibu and Alao-Akala so ask your folks who Adedibu and Alao-Akala are and what they represent then you would feel the cry of Lagosians against Korossion. We don't want Koro to do to lagos what Adedibu and Alao-Akala are doing to Oyo state. Tell your folks in Ibadan to go out now and vote out Akala vote for anybody but Akala and tell your friends in Lagos to go out and vote anybody but Obanikoro a frauster.

i have just voted. unfortunately it wont count. first agbaje's picture was left out and INEC hasn't told us why. several people called me to say they were being told by AC agents at their stations that his pic was omitted because he defected to AC which we all know is a lie. A lot of people who intended to vote for him were confused (especially the semi illiterate or illiterate voters). I live in a residential area of ikoyi and can confirm that the elections will neither be free nor fair. the INEC officials in our station appeared to be acting in concert with some thugs whose parties i will leave unnamed for fear of my life. they were issuing more than one governorship ballot papers to the thugs and their friends. the policemen stood by and watched. it took us several hours to figure out where exactly we were supposed to cast our votes (we must have visited at least 6 stations in the neighborhood before we got ours). the whole thing is a sham and a big big joke. one day Nigeria go beta. unfortunately it wont be today. someone called me from lekki to say her area was dominated by thugs of a particular party and they paid people N200 per vote for their man. do we not desire change? do we not desire a better future for our kids. God will judge. I went to vote believing that my candidate stood a good chance but certainly did not believe it was a do or die affair. and i would have been happy to see a fair result even if he did not win. but knowing now as i do that whoever is the next governor of this state has rigged his way in, its a huge shame. i will never participate in any election in this country moving forward UNLESS ITS AN OPEN system like that adopted in 1993. anything else will be a waste of our precious time. Let me take this opportunity to say bye to all the "friends" i made on this blog. its been nice talking with you all, I'm sure i will cry at some point today. maybe shedding tears for the sorry state of our country will lift my depression, my sister told me her colleague this week said "may the best rigger win", and i thought to myself no let's be prayerful and optimistic. but hey, cest la vie. i guess the best rigger will win. take care guys and ladies! maybe we'll meet again in 4 years time!

I voted in my area - Magodo Phase I, Iseri.  True Jimi Agbaje's picture is missing but the party name, logo and Jimi Agbaje's name are present  . I got there 9am and voting hadnt started.  I was asked to return 10am.  I returned 11.10am and I was able to vote.  I did not notice any thugs at the polling booth.  It appeared peaceful.

Despite the fact that Jimi Agbaje's picture is missing, I am 100% confident that he will win the election and become the next governor of Lagos State.  Let's not look at this as half-glass empty but as half-glass full.  We should not believe that the actions of a corrupt few can undermine the overwhelming votes for Jimi Agbaje.  May the best candidate win.  Amin.

Vote Jimi Agbaje for Governor, Lagos State, 2007.  caring.thinking.working.

Haba! Koro just behaves like a thug himself.
Of all d candidates, he was d only one who came with escorts to the polling centre and imagine, he was doing some kind of campaign there which is against the law.
Pedro, Agbaje and fashola are the top 3

Sorry my peps that I have been away
Actually I have been at the INEC office in Lagos pleading with them seriously to multiply Koro's votes by two so as to make the result more competitive Grin Grin. Considering Koro's excuses that Tinubu sent RAIN to disturb the elections and that OBJ did not come to Lagos on time to facilitate the rigging in his favour; which I consider as very concrete excuses Grin Grin
Moreover considering my friends like Femmylangy who has refused to eat since Saturday, Madejibo meaning in Yoruba(I will steal votes ) who is contemplating suicide and llcoolg who is at the car park on his way to Sao Tome.
After multiplying Koro's votes by 2 he was still way off Babatunde Raji Fashola.
Oh what a shame so the guy is just noise alone PDP won 1 local government out of 20 even if we multiply the LG he won by 6 he would still lose.

Let me leave you with a quote from an AC female supporter i heard on TV yesterday
"The AC worked very hard for this election thinking that we are facing a strong party not knowing that we were just wasting our energy it was like killing an ant with a sledge hammer" Tongue Tongue AC should be charged for child abuse
