I Need To Unlock My New Nokia 6234

I just received this morning in Lagos a Nokia 6234 bought from Argos, London. It is a splendid phone, by all means. The snag is that it is Vodafone SIM locked. Have tried to unlock the SIM at the Computer Village, Ikeja but no one could. The story was that it is a new phone and the software to unlock it is not yet available. I need urgent help: anyone with a good idea how to unlock this phone?
