its possible just go to winehq.com but if you use ubuntu then go to packages.ubuntu.com if you are that deep into music why don't you try audacity. remember try searching your package manager or simply google for more applications. i know of one that helps create midi files but can't remember. welcome to linux

Welcome to linux.  Well, I advise that you get linux alternatives for your programs on windows.  There are some I know: Hydrogen (create beats), Muse(seq.), Rosegarden(seq), Timdity, Audacity(multitrack hdr tool).  I use Timidity (it's for MIDI), Rosegarden and Audacity.

Cheers mate!

Hayprof, there's a good download manager for Linux.  It's name is d4X.  You can download it (do a google search: d4X download) and to maximize it's use, download the FlashGot extension for Firefox.

kind of not vote for d4x as a good download manager on linux. it kind of slow compared to window's popular Download Accelerator Plus(DAP).
The best i pretty use is prozilla. It's equally fast, if not faster than DAP. It can setup multiple connections to the downloaded file and resume download, just like DAP. Again it has a command line and gui interface. Just a small files less than 200kb but perform wonder! The CL interface is detailed and interesting. So i did not bother installing the gui in ma own case.give it a try, it's the best!
