2005 Christmas Festival In Canaan City, Calabar

This is announcing formally, the 2005 christmas festival in Canaan City, Calabar.

Last year, all the great names in the music and entertainment industry were here.and this year, the season has been taken to another level.  Tu Face, P - Square, Sunny Nneji, and Basket mouth, among several other Nigerian greats are billed to perform live in the UJ Esuene Stadium throughout the season.  Admission as always is free.  And, there will b the African Nite at the prestigeous Obudu Ranch Resort, where African Dishes and continental meals shall be served.  Many african greats will also perform.  The mother of them all,  JOE of the "I want to know what turns you on" fame, would also be here in Calabar, with Lucky Dube (who was here same time last year) in tow.  Al these for free.  There is carribean-style Carnival Float on 26/12.  The sweet Governor, (who is the only one in Nigeria with the Mr. subriquet) would lead the pack in all these.  He will also lead his band (where he is the lead-vocalist to sing in some of the musical nites). The night of DEC. 31, (12 midnite) would see everyone at the stadium, ushering in 2006 with spectacular fireworks.   Won't you rather come spend christmas in Paradise??

Maxi Priest is comming in too.  Feladey performed at the ranch last weekend.  Lagbaja will be here too.  The list is endless...

It was so much fun
we had 20km walk from stadium to mary slessor,marian to MCC then highway and back to stadium
