Yes, IMO Gene is one of the prettiest girls in Nollywood today, but then we have to remember that Nollywood tends to shy away from introducing much competition where leading ladies are concerned. Once they pick their starlet, they give them all the leads and they star in the majority of the films, they will hardly cast someone like Gene or Ini and give them real competition in terms of looks.
Where Hollywood will flood the industry with beauties, Nollywood doesn't IMO. They rather protect the select few.
Then again, maybe women still shy away from taking up acting as a career, because we all know that beauty on Gene's level is very easy to find in Nigeria, even in Lagos alone.
