The Federal Government on Tuesday made spirited attempts to save a Nigerian drug convict, Mr. Iwuchukwu Amara Tochi, from execution. Tochi, 19, is to be executed in Singapore on Friday after he was found guilty for transporting 727.3 grammes of heroin into the country. But President Olusegun Obasanjo in a letter to the Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr. Lee Hsien Loong, urged him to intervene in the imminent execution Tochi. Should the presidency save this youth or send a clear no tolerance message for this kind of crime? http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art200701242105092
