TOH thats not your mama's fault. Once she has had one C- section is near impossible to have natural birth after.
Radiant I don't know I will look at the journal again!
@topic trying different postions during intercourse I think lying on your stomach makes the vagina seem tighter.

which took several months to heal.
Why do I find it hard to believe you? I know a lady who had a CS and began her chores after 9 days. I'm not kidding. Anyway, people are different.

I didn't say I wasn't able to do my chores - I said it took several months to heal - meaning that the actual wound took several months to heal as it tore while I was doing my chores. I didn't have any problems with my vagina tearing at any time "after" the vaginal delivery.

"The risk of death in the first 28 days of life was 1.77 per 1,000 live births among women who had C-sections, compared to 0.62 per 1,000 for women who delivered vaginally. Even after analyzing the various causes of infant death, the researchers could find no clear explanation for the difference.
"Understanding the causes of these differentials is important, given the rapid growth in the number of primary Caesareans without a reported medical indication," they conclude."
Lady T, that's what I got from that article. There are risks involved as well as with Natural delivery but y'all are making it seem like some taboo to have a CS.

@cantango & topic nice u had a successful CS. Let's not miss the point, the debate is not between CS and vaginal delivery, but the hole size, hmmm size does matter in this case for many people . Yeah i agree with u, the vagina heals (externally) a lot faster, but the issue is that guys (especially seun ) like it tighter even after child birth because 'we' can't grow any bigger after marriage

I agree but people have their reasons to opt for a CS Personally I'm even scared of that natural shit, after seeing so many ridiculous cases I didn't say I wasn't able to do my chores - I said it took several months to heal - meaning that the actual wound took several months to heal as it tore while I was doing my chores. I didn't have any problems with my vagina tearing at any time "after" the vaginal delivery.
lolhow will your vagina tear after a natural delivery? Tho' sometimes they still cut the vagina a little' bit during birth but you can't compare it to a major incision like in a CS. Sorry your 'tommy' tore then

Lol @ Honey_pot & Radiant. Yes my vag was cut during the natural delivery because of the size of my son's head! but it healed really quickly. As for how to tighten it after the delivery - I highly recommend the excercise that have already been mentioned - they work wonders & satisfaction is guaranteed

Radiant don't be selective my love the article title speaks for itself More infant deaths with elective C-sections Procedure has three times higher mortality rate than babies born vaginally

That's what I don't understand. How many babies died in that US research. 3 times higher isn't a satisfactory answer for me.

Radiant, I don't know where you live but I promise you that in the UK you can't say 'I want a caesarean' and just get it unless you go private. They are only done on the NHS in cases of emergency or when the doctor really believes it is medically essential. It's not the mother's choice. This is because there are increased risk to both mother and child and also a caesarean birth costs the NHS a lot more than a natural one. The assumption is that virtually all births can be natural, with only a small number of caesareans carried out, and parental request is not a good enough reason. There is no such thing as a 'caesarean on demand' here in the UK.
I work with a woman who had to have an emergency caesarean with her first baby. She really really wanted a caesarean for her second baby last year as she was worried about the first caesarean scar breaking down during labour (it does happen rarely). She made the request but was told no, she had to have a normal delivery, and could only get another caesarean if it became medically necessary during the natural labour.

Pelvic floor exercises, pelvic floor exercises, pelvic floor exercises and more pelvic floor exercises.
Do lots of foreplay with your husband to temporarily get his mind off your vagina while it tries to get back into shape.

This is a serious issue. Let us get things straight. The man already has a mind set that the thing is looooose so which foreplay are we talking about. I will join you in prayers my dear sister that the thing tightens back. Serious matter. i have learnt a lot from this forum. But i will advise you to get a younger babe who you know has a boy friend and ask her how she does it to be tyte.
