the initiative is to reach out to people who have enormous talent but don't have where to go. if money is paid ,do you think it will achieve that objective? the idea is to turn the very best of these scripts into big budget movie productions, tv series, documentaries. its being packaged by a new television station who just acquired a licence and want 100% Nigerian content, sorry 100% fresh and interesting Nigerian content

My opinion is that, if you pay for content you judge to be interesting and original, writers will be encouraged to produce more of that. It doesn't even have to be a competition, it can just be an invitation to submit scripts. Cheers!
