i don't think so, i havent been a huge seafood fan since i was a kid. Maybe sardines once in a while or the mackerel my mom used to make in a unique way that i liked.

I boil it before i fry.
In Nigeria we used to peel off that hard part with hot water. But it dose not work here wounder why.
But if you do not like your meat hard do not do it

There was this Russian woman she will cook it and then cut it in very thin stripes and make a cold buffet out of it. or on her sandwitch

yeah i remember my mom using hot water to peel the top off, i think that's the best part though. I don't peel it off, just cook long enough to get it soft.
Well if you cut it in cubes then that makes sense, its possible to just fry it until its a bit brown.
