Actually that is only for the American version, here in the UK home of Harry Potter, the movie and the book are called Philsophers Stone. |

that home of d harry potter wasn't really necesary! i bet we Americans buy d books and watch d movies more dan yall. some copies here r still called philosophers but sorcerer is more common.

Yes it was! Harry Potter is an English character and creation, and they only changed the title because they thought you yanks would get confused!! You may watch more than us but only becuase you are about 5 times the population of the UK! But it's not a contest, you're the one who corrected me with the US title and I just pointed out that the name is the original british name. It's a bit like a yank telling a brit, "you really should call the game soccer and not football"

never heard of chris columbus. . . anyways i used to think JK Rowling (author of the books the movies were based on) was a guy and then i found out she was a lady and got quite excited. . .  I'm not a harry potter fanatic but one of my friends is practically in love w/ him. . . it's wierd. |

British people are funny. they say things weirdly, and add extra letters to words like "colour" as opposed to "color" or "armor" and "armour" they say automobile funny to. (and by the way, you should really think about calling it 'soccer' instead of 'football') USA!! woot  it makes me smile and chuckle alittle bit when people say MAGIC IS EVIL and is from the DEVIL, therefore Harry potter=evil and magic is not good or bad, it is allways evil. ha ha ha ha those silly people and there ideas |
