? Please Help? To Pay 5k For Training, What Do You Think?

Hi there,
I passed out from the NYSC in PH yesterday(thank God!!!!!!!) and was invited to write a test by some consulting firm at the parade ground, for  later in the evening,
I passed the screening,was asked to bring certificates, was interviewed bla bla today.
Now they I've been asked to fill forms and they expect me to be in Lagos for another interview in Lagos on Sunday at 9am, if I pass I will pay 5K for a three days training, after which i will receive a certificate and i can choose whether or not i still want the job. at the moment i am being considered for a marketing job for one of the first generation banks.
I just want to know whether it is a standerd accepted practice by consulting firms.
