Carling Cup Final: Arsenal Vs Chelsea
« on: February 01, 2007, 07:28 PM »

Here is the thread to post your views on the final match in Cardiff.

This is created to ease our main threads(i.e Chelsea and Arsenal's main thread) of unnecessary overloading.

I do hope every single player from both teams is fit to play the match( Gallas and Ashley inclusive).

Your views guys:

, chelsea's first out of 4.
Heard a manure fan today saying he prays chelsea doesn't win any trophy this season, It doesn't seem likely.

well, like Akola says. if all the players are fit, then we'll get a great game, but it all depends on what happens in the premiership by then

e.g if Chelsea are closer to Man utd, with an important game the next wednesday/weekend, they might field a lighter side

on the other hand, if they are still in the same position they are now, or have slipped further behind Man Utd, Maureen might go for

broke and field his strongest side. For Arsenal, its all down to the players available. January was a very good month for the gooners, with the

exception of the bolton draw (even that wasn't so bad). Expect a cracking display of football, but I personally won't feel bad if Arsenal don't win it

the development of the likes of Denilson, Traore, Diaby and Walcott is more important to me than winning the Carling Cup

All the same I back the Young Guns to take out the Romans

Re: Carling Cup Final: Arsenal Vs Chelsea

I back the young guns to beat the old pros.

I also go with the sentiment of favouring the growth of the young players over winning the carling cup.

Having said that I still think our youngster can easily beat Chelsea.

Come on you Gunners!

Sorry sir!

We don't just make unnecessary noise.

Proper Blue shouldnt make all those "yeye" noise.

I honestly want Mr wenger to field his top gun while Jose does the same but my fear was the timing. Champions league/FA cup et al.

@Gunners

Who are the baby Arsenal?

1) Is it Adebayo?

2) Is it Aluminia

3) Is it Gilberto

4) Is it Alexander Hleb

5) Is it Febregas?

6) Is it Ebou?

7) Or Captain Kolo Toure.

Waiting for the answer.

@ Vieria

As an Insider, is it true that Aluminia drives Homer-jeep? Where he get that money?

Re: Carling Cup Final: Arsenal Vs Chelsea
« #22 on: February 01, 2007, 11:32 PM »

in my opinion baby gunners are traore, denilson, walcott,

and probably hoyte and aliadiere, since they aren't first team regulars and are quite young in age

haba baba AK, why you dey mess with our players' names

Adebayor (not Adebayo), Almunia (not Aluminia), Fabregas (not Febregas) and Eboue (not Ebou). . . . . . but it seems you did this on purpose Wink

I will leave the second question for Vieira (not Vieria) *wetin names do you now?  Grin*

Lmao @Debosky!! i wonder why d name-spoiling myself hahahaha BTW why can't Almunia buy a Hummer jeep? Has Akola done a proper research on this guy's background? Even pitched with a second string Arsenal side, Chelski would go terribly down!!

I am not sure if Alumania drives a hummer but I can confirm that a hummer is parked in Arsenal's car park on match days.

But how much is a hummer?

Even if he is only earning 5k a week which I am sure is not the case, that is still 1/4 of a million a year now.

People that are earning half of that are buying hummers jare.

I also think that Reyes had a hummer, but he was made fun of becuase the tire big pass am self! Imagine small Reyes in such a car.
