Being a lesbian is a bad idea if you have a choice, because:
1) You will face terrible discrimination.
2) You will find it difficult to find women who are lesbians like you. The few ones you find might not be compatible with you.
3) You will face terrible discrinination.
However, those who are biologicaly configured to be lesbians have no choice, so I have made up my mind not to be the one who will add to their troubles. Even with a low level of discrimination against them, what they go through psychologically is very demanding, so why must I as a straight person set myself up as an obstacle to someone else's happiness because she's gay?

Well Mide2 I guess the bottom line is that no matter how indignant and self-righteous you become over other people's lifestyle choice, little or no attention will ultimately be paid to your internal turmoil and frustrations. I also doubt very much your theory that straight men and women will become an extinct species anywhere other than in your own overactive imagination.
