I think you'all should have this in mind, if Nigeria should break the hausa and Yoruba will suffer the most and i don't think you guys out here know the exact history of Nigeria and the Ibos, the problem Nigeria is having are the Ibos, We Ibos own Nigeria and we are the Nigerians worldwide. You'all calling Niger Delter names ain't worth it, because Ibos own Niger Delter, decades, Niger delter were war slaves that we gave the lower land to sqourt and Ibos being so kind and a tribe that adopt and like foreigners gave them that their oil land to sqourt for the moment so, they won't have anything to say because theu know we own their land.

We better start putting Biafran pounds in use, we are too strong.

Igbo Kwenu. we can never lose our culture.

If Nigeria breaks up every region will suffer because our African brothers from the north, east, and south will eventually come in to bring peace while the major powers coupled with some African governments especially from the north will come for their own share at any cost. Is not going to be a cake walk and kudos to the person that said Nigeria needs to stay united and am going to add to that, is very essential and a neccessity.
If America made up of everyone in the world with a white rule can be united and europe also made up everyone can be united, then nigeria and matter of fact Africa made up of one skin different languages excluding those of arab backgrounds should be and can be united without fear of this or that.  Very essential for future generations. America still got a major card to play, uniting with canada and everyone on earth knows that it will dwarf anything else excerpt African unity.

i can understand where your coming from, but nigeria is far more diverse culturally than america in my opinion even though everyone has the same skin colors, your talking about 250 different ethnic groups and 500 languages verses people from various nationalities of that are united in the same race in america. another difference between america and nigeria is that america wasnt forced to be what it was its a country that was founded by various people rather than carved out by people who had no knowledge of the people living in its borders, ya dig?

America wasn't forced to be a country? men, i don't think u know what u are talking about. So all the black slaves in America that was brought there were all told to pack their bags and given some days to get ready; or the people the europeans met were happy to let them rule or the mexican lands that were taken with some people there were told that it was temporary. The indians that were slaves to their masters and landed in America was happy he was in America at that time abi.
Men, we really need to up our game, broaden our mentality, love and treat our brothers like brothers and friends like friends. If in a soccer match, yoruba pass to yoruba or igbo pass to igbo anytime they get the ball then i wonder how Nigeria will ever win.  Even if we break up, do u think is going to be all good? if u say yes, then u 'r a big f**l because villages will fight amongst themselves and some even wanting to breakup again.
The simple truth is that Nigeria is also unique like America because if u were born with value laws protecting your life making u feel important like how white americans and europeans somehow are, I bet u would have had a different mentality. No disrespect, is just a fact and the funny thing is that those who made europe and american styles like with common values didn't just start, they probably had traditions but when time of uncertainity came they changed plans sometimes radical sometimes commonsense but the aim was for betterment of themselves and their neighbors.

During independence, I saw from clips people happy to be united, people happy to be free from colonization so it didn't matter what they spoke as long as they were one skin. Is also not about just having one skin but one skin that is organized and in control of their place is the crux.
Abeg, don't try to incite naija to primitive times because there are many languages. Everything has advantages and disadvantages but unity is almost always an advantage.

Several people on this thread have stated that the North and South West will suffer the most. I understand the

Northern part, but why the South West ?
