2. 95.7% of 'em retarded Nollywood flicks

3. Possibly all Bollywood flicks (it's debatable)

4. Battlefield Earth (Oh the Humanity!)

5. Babel (i slept off lyk twice watching that shit)

6. The Grudge (say what?)

7. Titanic

8. Dracula 3000 (movie was brimming full of shit to the very end, no wonder the TV was reeking of Pooh)

9. Triple 6 - the demon child (After watching that movie, i was convinced retards were let loose out of the Assylum to go pursue a looney career)

I hated it too . I just can't understand why Samuel L. Jackson would want to be in such a mediocre movie like that.

1. All Nigerian Home Videos (except that one with RMD, Genevieve, Bimbo Akintola and Keppy Ekpeyong)
2. Most Black, Hip-Hop influenced, 'Hood Comedies (lil man, white chicks, etc)
3. Those high school movies where the boy and the girl like each other, then fight, then end up happily ever after

who has watched the movie 'bloodrayne' its about a girl named rayne and as d name implies, its truly a blood rain. very stupid movie. all they did was slash people in a very foolish manner and spill blood as if a tanker containing blood was broken or something. the bginning, middle and ending of the movie was totally meaningless. its as if the crew didn't even think before producing tne movie. useless plot. the worst horror movie of decade, it should surely win that grammy

Totally agree, one of the most horrible movies ever produced.  Ben Kingsley made a wrong choice in starring in that one!  Only one scene was worth watching and thats when Rayne got her groove on! Grin

I was watching it on HBO, and thought ok so i'll watch it just to say i have watched it. *shudders to think of the money wasted* Seriously, from the scene she went to get the package, i lost interest and switched the channel. Pure crap!  Milla Jovavich has never been one to pick correct roles, only film she made any much of an impact was in "The 6th Element".  *shudders thinking of Joan of Arc, she bloody looked like she was having epileptic seizures!

yes ultraviolet made no sense at all. the quality of the story and the whole plot was so poor, i think it one a rasberry award for worst movie. totally pitiful, i didn't even get the end scene.MEANINGLESS. it was a struggle to watch it. can you remember the scene where her friend brought her back to life. when she asked why did u saveme he replied isn't it obvious? then she later blabbed one crappy proverb/saying that totally made no sense. seriously what was she thinking agreeing to play that stupid role? . @iice i agree with you o,  she did look like she was having epileptic seizures in joan of arc.

no scene in bloodrayne was good. even when she was getting her groove on, the scene was crappy. what kind of wacked sex was that. i mean seriously. it was slightly pornographic. she was so horny, she only wanted to mellow down her libido( totally wild). that film is so useless Angry Angry Angry. for nigerian movies we have a handful and 'could this be love' is definitely part of it. its a pity my grace amah starred in it

@Nella

Just gave me my best movie idea ever. I'm planning to shoot a spoof for all Nigerian homevideos and you just helped me decide what to call it:
TO GOD BE THE GLORY
or
WATCH OUT FOR PART 2!

And I see people on this thread mentioning Nigerian homevideos as their stupidest movie, some are saying this home video or that is their worst film.

The name "homevideo" is not because they are made for home viewing. I think it's because they are produced using home appliance: camcorders, actors' own wardrobe and cars, handy make-up, no studio and finally edited on personal computer. So I think the name emanated from:
Home (made) Video.

Abeg don't call Nollywood homevideo FILM anymore. There is no link between a camcorder and a professional Film camera.

Anyway, I'm trying to remember the name of the most stupid movie I've ever seen. I'll call my roommate from back in college because we watched it together. Second worst is THE HULK and ULTRAVIOLET.  I can't believe it, it's a tie!!
