sorry, but your flash drive is almost certainly a fake/clone. i had the same experience before.i advise u buy a flash drive from lg warehouse(at warehouse road, apapa) or cash and carry or pc outlet at the palms.trust me, it's better 2 buy an original at cost.i've been there.original lg flash drives are not too expensive, tho that depends on your budget
4gb 12000 2gb 8000 1 gb 6000 , i forget the other prices.cheers. Cool

am talking bsed on diirect experience. i first bought ibm flash(fake) .i wanted to copy word, pdf and exe files.
it messed me up immediately! Lips sealed
i went back to the guy changed d flash, it happened again.i bought a sony flash supposedly 1gb, i messed me up as well.
Sad Sad
i know so many guys who keep buying fake flash drives, and i KEEP telling them-this flash drive will f**k you up in a critical venture. i wish i had known where to buy original flash drives when i started. it would have saved me so much time. none of the flash drives i bought from PC outlet or lg have never let me down! Angry

tell me what make your flash is and where you bought it. if you read the accopnaying documentation, it is almost certainly mispelt.that bc it a chinese flash.YOU CANNOT COMPROMISE ON YOUR IT ACCESSORIES IF YOU WANT TO AVOID FAILURES.
more times than i care to remember, my colleagues who insusist on buying fake flsh drives have come 2 harass me to try to recover their corrupted files.

most of those guys selling esp in pc village will start to blow grammer for you-its because of the way you are using it, well thats so much bull shit!. Angry
i am a downloading freak and i regularly download over 100mb(sometimes up to 300mb ) of applications in cybercafes . i then copy 2 my flash and transfer to my pc. and MY FILES ARE NEVER CORRUPTED.  Cool

anyway-its up to you. u can decide 2 keep taking chances or u can take the safe route and buy an originl  flash drive.cheers. Smiley

@remmyz
You could try to reformat the drive, and then go from there. I had a similar problem with a 1GB flash drive, untill i did a drive format and eversince then its been working perfectly.
