Okanlawon, wondered for a while, How long have I been dead? Which of these women is my mother? How many brothers and sisters do I have? If Fruit Spirit is the name I used in the land of the dead then I need to learn a lot of things about myself, my family, my friends,
Okanlawon broke down crying then he screamed; "Oh my God! Am I dead or alive?"

Fruit Spirt suddenly stood up from the coffin approaching toward his sister and said,

Dead? Who said that? Plague One is that you? Star, The Blind One Who Sees, The Lame One, where are you? Did you not say that I can only live out my dream in the land of the living?
Okanlawon screamed "I'm not d ead! I'm alive!"
His mother moved closer singing his praise; Okanlawon, Okanlomo, Okanlakinkanju n'igbo 'mole,
His sister, the one who returned from the city before he became unconscious moved closer "I'm the one who called you Fruit Spirit, you were so gentle, so calm, you loved that name more than your very own."

"Okanlawon", his mother called out just as she wanted to embrace him and just then the father shouted "Eewo", the Ifa priest will have to see him and do some sacrifices. What did the priests do when he died the mother retorted my son will not see any Ifa priest, my seven days and seven nights fast will not go in vain.
Fruit Spirit come with me, leave these old people, you really need to take a bath and rest. "Rest ke", shouted Anike, do you want him to go again? You can't rest now o,

after resting he woke up to find himself on top of a huge iroko tree instead of his bed

The iroko tree had huge leaves big enough to carry his small frame on each leaf lay a frame each leaf as large as the frame. As he looked franctically from left to right he saw them rise from a sleeping to a sitting position calling and beckoning to him with a smile that could pass for a grin. While some shouted "Okanlawon come" others shouted "Fruit Spirit ma bo".

Fruit Spirit sweating said,"Where am I? I am so confused." Suddenly he remembered franctically to look for his survival kit everywhere beside iroko tree leaves.
He stopped and looked down the hilly of iroko tree, there is another river with the four burning bushes and a wooden canoe few miles, he began walking carrying his leaf frame.

Still very frightened, hearing the echoes of different people beckoning; if only I can make it to the wooden canoe, he thought. Suddenly he saw a mighty shadow; he looked up and it turned out to be a giant dressed in white, as he starred at the wooden canoe just about four strides away from him, he knew he had to contend with the giant if he is to make it in time to the canoe.

The giant had long hairy face with whiskers like that of a cat and eyes shining as bright as ever. The giant moved closed to him, Oh he wished it was all a dream but suddenly a thought came accross his mind to enchant brave songs his father had thought him to sing when facing difficult situations like the one he had at the moment.

And then he woke and realized that it was all a dream. He then got up, looked himself in the mirror and felt angered by the fact that he was still 6 years old and his dream of being 40 years wont come true till 34 years later . THE END

, He laid still on his be and thought out loud "no one should be given the opportunity to end other peoples fun when they did not begin it, everyone has a got an inalienable right to live up there dreams, well though i still have a long way to go, i certainly know that if its to be then its up to me". He got down from the bed and made for the door, only for him to hear his nurse's call close by "when will this silly boy get out of bed, oh o he is just pretending so he wouldnt go to school today".Damn, he mutterred, school! all i want is to see the world. to his suprised he heard a voice say "the future depends on your dreams so little dearie go back to bed. he didnt bother to give it a thought but made a quick dash, for the bed

In bed he began to wonder, how do I even know that the tears and wailing as a result of my death, the people I met, how do I know that, that I am still not in a trance? Is the world real? Then he remembered the song he sang and busted out laughing; how on earth did I expect to disarm a giant with such a silly song, come to think of it maybe the giant would simply have joined my song and become my friend, I can hear footsteps, am I still dreaming or am I awake?

No it shouldn't end, it can't end, what can I do to dream big? My dreams are still all muddled up? Am I awake or asleep, I can't even tell. On what side should I wake to ensure I begin to live my dream? The footsteps are louder, oh no, what do I do?

then a voice came from nowhere, as the voice of one who was ignorant of the root of the matter, unaware of the whole story, one who didn't really care how the story went and all it said was, "this has got to be a JOKE". Alas, it was my long lost fiancéé

Fruit Spirit startled hearing his long lost fiance saying, "this has got to be a JOKE". He suddenly awake grabbed on a wooden canoe drifting down the river at the same time called her name, "Diligence, where are we now?"
Diligence answered," Sorry for startling you, we now are on second river called Diligence River passed from Knowledge River to escape the giant and your people. Calm down and relax."

Take the children to school ke? Am I dreaming or insane? I was only a boy when this started, have I lived my dream or have I spent all my life dreaming? Wasn't that the diligence river; the second of 7 rivers the Fortune Teller told me about. If I am not dreaming how do I return to my past life to fix things? If I am dreaming how does this fit into my life cycle? Please God, help!!!
