If I have to choose between two departments in the same company, I would look out 4 performance and not sex as a first option. And if they are rated equal in every way, I would choose the one whose physical appearance is more charming. My boss must be able to be a role model for me.
When u know that we come into this life as equal children of God, reincarnating again and again each time alternating between the sexes, then u can lose your likes and dislikes. The human mind is so strong as the prison-warden that locks us away from our divine knowledge, because it's best weapon is to make us like and dislike to create in us fear and anger, greed, lust for power/sex etc, vanity and undue atachment to our beliefs/properties. Spiritually though, the male is cut out for serving in the role of ultimate boss or spiritual leader of the universe! And u can't choose here.

I would go for a female boss. The women I worked for are usually better managers and know how to deal with people better. if you want to go for a clear objective in a competitive environment, I'd rather work with men, they're more focussed

I'd have to say a female only because they would understand emotions better than men. I also tend to think they'd be more compassionate although I may be wrong. I've never had a female supervisor.

It depends. I have two female bosses here in my curent job -- they're very nice. My last boss was a man but he was also very nice - in fact he was nicer. Most people prefer women when it comes to the ego problem but when it's a woman who might be interested in you sexually, forget it. They're very vicious.

male i guess 'because they don't get into trivial issues around the office but i've worked with some females who really had cool heads on their shoulders and some guys who are simply ridiculous. but most times women are difficult people when it comes to being bosses, probably because of their hormones (i don't know)

I don't have a preference. I don't think sex/gender determines what makes a good boss. It's the personality. I've had both bad and good bosses in both sexes. so now, I just hope for really good people until I never have to work for anyone again.

a male boss. when i was younger i used to work in a grocery store. we had a male as our boss, a very cool guy. he wasn't in anybody's business. his rule was "you do your work, and i will do mine". that all changed when he was transferred to another store. in exchange we got a lady as our new boss. i don't know what makes them(ladies) worst. is it their cycle or bad sex life? i mean this lady fired 10 people under 1 week(including the people who had the job as their career).
furthermore, she was always in everybody's business. her rule was " i run this store, if i don't like you, your fired". i guess she had the business woman mentality(don't really care about anyone's feelings, as long as her store is bringing in the highest profits).
anywho, since am a lady, i would prefer a male boss just because *yea, you know why*. but who really cares. am all grown now, running my own office.

If more female bosses behave the way i do, they would definitely be preferred. But since most of them don't, what a pity, i prefer male bosses. I think most females prefer male bosses too. there is definitely a reason why. I wont say though. |
