Acording to british law, it is not termed a marriage, rather it is a civil partnership ceremony it was only drummed up to give them same rights married people have in respect to finances, community property, in case of one partner dying. This makes it easy for a gay couple to pass on property and and stuff . Marriage is a religious ceremony.
I* hate when people use the word marriage because as a christian, it is a God ordained ceremony and union of man and woman. Elton John goodluck to him, pray for his salvation
