…THE BEAUTY OF ENCOURAGEMENT…

“…God asked me to come and encourage you…”
                                                                            …Dr Tayo Brown

In the original version of the book EXPECTATION ONLY DISAPIONT, the very first thing that came to mind in the planning process of the book was Encouragement. I can say one of the very major reason I survived my set back that became a set forward was the act of encouragement that often came to me when I remembered the words of my loved ones. It got me thinking and searching real deep into the past some few years ago when my sister told me she believes so much in me: I remember those days I survived through imagining mama’s (my mom) tears and words implying her love for me.
I could remember my dad was called Mr. White and Black because he could not afford to buy clothes with his little salary just to make sure he sees all his children go to school. And I recently asked myself “why daddy didn’t withdraw me from school for at least two years just to look good and avoid being called Mr. White and Black.

Many things are always said in actions and even though it does not in any way mean anything now, it could help in latter years.

Billy Joel, the famous singer said he considered suicide when he lost his relationship.  Many individual who have survived through difficulties can easily link it to the support they feel they have from a wife, brother, parents or a never giving up friend that makes them feel important.

The beauty of encouragement is the act of helping those in difficulties attain a level of viewing themselves as being accepted and the need for this can not be over emphasized: the fact that not many of us can really sit down and find encouragement in our world except for those that are really grounded in God like David did…

“…And David encourage himself in the Lord”
…1 Samuel 30:6
means many of us that have this knowledge should go all out to give hope.
Tiger wood employed some set of people just to keep telling some set of children there’s hope.

What can you do, I believe you are not complaining you don’t have enough, because you need to consider those children who are victims of war or those their parents dumped them in motherless babies because they can’t just afford to be responsible fathers and mothers.

Its another festive season; a season of joy, a season of love sharing, that is the good will towards men, it’s a time to let someone know there’s hope in the faithfulness of God.

You never can tell what the little appreciation you show will do in someone’s life sometimes; ten, twenty, thirty or in fifty years time.

The need for hope is the major duty we are called to, because it will tell many their situation is only but for a moment and better days abound.

I love you but the Lord loves you more than I do.
