The people who gave birth to the country have abandoned it anyway, who mourns for an orphan?. . .Present day Nigerians need to create a Nigeria that belongs to us, the nation those British created is what we're still trying to patch up.

Totally RUBBISH!
I disagree, Nigeria is well and pretty much alive.

Nigeria is just 16 years old and getting ready to come out flying high.

Let's make patience and future our best friend.

Please, keep hope alive; Nigeria will be back momentarily.

if this journalist and the guy who post this topic are in Nigeria we will arrest them and prosecute them for treason.  How can the giant of Africa be dead?  if you kill Nigeria you kill the whole west Africa.  Nigeria is here to live forever and ever. this kind of pessimistic barbaric post should be discontinued.  we are trying to unite and move Nigeria forward.  ONE NATION.

Just chill out, man

Fredom of expression is encouraged in this climate of rapidly eroding peace in Nigeria.

It's time to just stop talking about the election and look into the other political issues.

All this is emotive nonsense. The country is not viable and was created at whim by Westerners. Our very boundaries were drawn up by foreigners, our very name was chosen by a Westerner, and yet we as Nigerians are not prepared to discuss the essence of our existence

The country is dead and the sooner we realise it the better

The African Paradox:

An African identity is easily accept and projected by all Africans. A national identity on the other hand, is hard to pinpoint when it comes to African countries. Why you ask?. . .The countries are arbitrary as you can get.

, my prayer is that may all those who wish Nigeria dead, die before the death of Nigeria.

Anyway, Nigeria don't even need you all, stay abroad, clean gutters, wash the street, earn little, spend little and think life is better abroad.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
they that love thee shall prosper.

Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will say now . . .

See this is what I be watching. The propaganda campaign begins. Tony Blair starting it for America before he leaves office. Americans and others will be taught how it is better for Nigeria to be split up.
