Use the mixer. Connect your mic to your soundcard, go to the mixer and change the input to whatever. Make sure the output is set to master and click record on the main interface. Boom.

@9ja4eva
You can use Cakewalk Pro 9 to record audio as well as add several effects.
But from FLStudio, you'll have to export your beat to .WAV format, and import from Cakewalk Pro.

Hi Folks,
Nice ideas you guys are pros. Candidly, I'll suggest cool edit pro for any voicing and then import into fruity loops or any other software you are using. The thing with cool edit pro is that you can master your voice input perfectly well with it before you export to other software.
Alternatively, you can import your finished sound track into cool edit pro (now Adobe Audition), on one track and choose various tracks for the different verses of your song, the pro way, have fun.
9ja4eva, welcome to pro world.

Fruityloops is not the best but it is easier to learn. Take your time to learn cubase which is the industry standard. You can still do a lot with fruityloops though am not knocking it. At the end it comes down to the one you are good at. Music softwares don't compose tracks for you, as long as you got talent, any sequencer will do.
