Did you say 10%? I'll say more like 50%.

Have you counted the number of policemen who are receiving bribe and extortion on the streets? What about the cashiers selling stuff @ fast food joints who type N300 for Five Alive into your bill when you ordered N270 Tampico (and most people don't notice)? What about the fuel station attendants who have developed a way in which they'll sell 28 litres for you and you'll think it was 30 litres? Or the Company manager who makes sure his own anonymous company gets the contract to supply stationery? It all starts from little things. When you're corrupt with as little as N20, you'll be corrupt with N20M when it gets into your hands. I believe the issue of corruption should be handled from the grass roots and not from the top ,  because when you remove someone from the top because he's corrupt, the next person in line is only thinking of how much he can make before he's caught. I'm not defending Tinubu, but the real reason of EFCC's accusation is not corruption.  Is he the only corrupt person? Look beyond. Read between the lines.

I agree with u, i was conservative with the number. The more reason the fight against corruption has to be done with wit and not Gra Gra politiks.

Really its difficult to find anyone not related somehow with corruption @ home.

Bola Tinubu is doing his best. No governor in this country will survive a day if been attacked and treated the way federal government attack Lagos state.

Former Minster of works - Ogunlewe versus Lagos state on rehabilitation of federal government road in Lagos state.

Federal government versus Lagos state - LG fund - even when supreme court ruled in Lagos state favour.

Even with the census 2006, Kano state with just 300, 000 more than Lagos state has 44 LG while Lagos has 20. which means less more for Lagos state compared to population.

If rehabilitation of road is not an achievement, then both federal government & all states government have failed as that is just what all of them did.

Let us remember that all these guys where already rich and maintain foreign account before being elected.

What does the census have to do with tinubu?

Rehabilitation of road is not an achievement!

I wonder if anyone can produce what calabar state and lagos state get from the FG AND what they generate internally

just remember, it was Tinubu that brought area boys back to Lagos. When Marwa was here, they were GONE!!!
thata's his only lasting legacy to Lagos, the only thing that will till remain after he's gone, the rejuvenated armies of never do wells making the life of honest lagosians a misery.
do you remember when Tinubu started the Cross country Vi buses?do you remember  how commutters saw pepper?people were spending 2 hours at CMS.And Now, all the buses are dead.

there's even this story I heard, don't know if its true or not- it seems A hospital in Yankee was upgrading it's equipment,
and it gave away its old equipment to Tinubu to use in Lagos state hospitals. But what did the man do? He diverted the equipment to Togo!

all these stories about how his family are living the high life make it clear HE IS A THIEF. People who earn their money do not throw it away.

Hmm, whats these cries about Tinubu, does anyone has any evidence against him? so many evidences against OBJ still Ribadu came out to say that OBJ is not corrupt, I wonder his meaning of corruption

to him corruption is not buying shares for your companies using govt machinery

to him corruption is not diversion of funds

to him corruption is not building presidential library while still in office

to him corruption is not bribing legislators for third time

to him corruption is not selling govt corporation to self

to him corruption is not having foreign account

to him corruption is not illegally transfer of fund to foreign land using presidential jets

to him corruption is not ordering state gov to donate to PDP

Then what is corruption, may be someone can tell us. Tinubu may be corrupt but no single evidence against him, so many agaisnt OBJ and he didnt deny some.

May God help us.

Census has alot to do.

The population of Lagos determines the amenities that should be in Lagos for people in Lagos state to be  okay. There is a number of police men to a certain number of people. There is need for more housing, more road, more electricity supply .
If population of Lagos is higher than Cross river, it is assumed that more amenities should be provided in Lagos. More police men should be in Lagos to control crime as more crime will be in lagos more than calabar.

Is was not as if am being bribe or something but BAT is still better than some Gov. I beleieve is only ones that are not dancing to the tune of olori oko that EFCC found guilty. Fayose has been on the run since and they were not able to arrest him is because baba is behind him. They were all corrupt even Ribadu atleast some egun will come before carrying out the operations.

Under Tinubu's administration Lagos lost both is facial and enviromental values. A responsible governor must do everything within his power to deliver good governance to the people of his state but BAT failed beyond redemption

Its been days since the EFCC made the allegation. clear thinking Nigerians are waiting for the specifics of the charges. I do not know Tinubu but I think it is just fair that we know exactly what he stole and where it was discovered.Making general damning statements like that without it being subtantiated does not help the credibility of the statement and the EFCC.

That should be our concern. No one knows what Tinubu stole-if he stole anything-until the agency charged with doing so lets us all know. And that is for everyone as well.

To be sincere Tinubu aka Ojuyobo has done alot for Lagos State and he should be praised for making the state the envy of others. I can go ahead to list his achievements

1. Area boys are all over Lagos doing what they know best.

2.Lagos has become the refuse dump of the whole of africa. A visit to Oshodi(oke & isale),   Ojota among others will convince you.

3. Trafic jams have taken a new dimension as LATSMA has become tax collector right on Lagos road.

4.Drive a brand new car on a lagos road it will loose its second hand value right on the spot.

5. Onikan Stadium is just a primary school play ground.

6. if you are healthy and you visit General hospitals in Lagos, you are sure of contacting diseases at the speed of light.

7. Most bridges in Lagos are nothing but death traps now.

Tinubu si nothing but a betrayal of the people.
