recently i noticed that i cannot copy things from websites to microsoft word. What couls be the cause?

i can do that in d old version but d one i am using now is not like that

use win98 bootable cd to  boot to a: then type fdisk from a prompt

come to computer village and get the win98 software then post another question to me and i will answer u chiefoh

i would also like to know how to backup your file when u re reformatting a system

boot up your system, right click on my computer and select ' manage'.
on the left pane u'll see 'disk management', just under disk defragmenter.
click on 'disk management'; on the right pane there should be details of the drives on your system.
look for unallocated disk space, right click on it and select new partition.
follow instruction.



PHOLA,
run an open board check;
connect power cables, slot on a processor,ram and vga card(if necessary) and power on the system.
if the beep continues, make alternating swap between those three devices - one of them is probably not working properly.
this would mean, u should disconnect your drives from the board, to narrow your troublshooting range.

your laptop problem is quite gross.
i wouldn't even suggest you take it to computer village; u might end up with a dead lappy.

my question is, my pc months ago was divided in two partitions(2 drives) i used to save on both  drives ,  before i did format my pc ,i saved doc photos etc on data cd all were viewable whenever i needed to view doc etc, when i formatted pc i made my pc on one partition and not on two as was before ,when all was ready and needed some txt documents i saved on data cd some documents like txt doc were not there only photos  were viewable other doc gone, how/s this? where my txt doc went?  to view all i saved on cd as before i must divide my pc again in 2 partitions? i had loads of doc saved no only photos.

cyprianjr,what you need to get is flash 8 or above because some sites are now upgrading their old pics presentation to motion ones and to view the site you have to get a key that is the flash files openner to get to the site,that is not a problem once they prompt you to download it keep on upgrading your macromedia but beware of virus attacked sites

Hello. I have a problem: I have some music CDs of my friend, but they cannot be played on the PC. At first I thought the problem was that the CDs are scratched. Many of my friend's CDs are scratched so that some songs crack and are interrupted. But there are 3 unplayable CDs which are not scratched so much in comparison to others which can be played. Then I realized that there is the inscription CVL on those 3 CDs. Well, what is this, why can the PC not play this and can I do anything to solve the problem?
