Hey if you can read and write in any Nigerian language, why don't you join wikipedia and help build the library of articles in the following Nigerian languages.

Yoruba
Igbo

Personally, i haven't contributed seeing as i don't speak or write either of these languages but i sure as hell have contributed to articles concerning Nigeria, including the article about why Abuja should host the 2014 commonwealth games.

Why did you leave out Hausa, the most widely spoken language in Nigeria?

Yoruba is spoken by over 40 million people world wide. That is why Yoruba is not a tribe, but a Nation.

LePhilippe--Great idea. I write and edit stuff on cultural history (in English) on Wikipedia all the time, and it's a great thing to contribute to, as long as you can provide accurate, unbiased information. People who have access to a Yoruba/Igbo-compatible keyboard and can write the language well should definitely sign up. If you're literate in other Naija languages, you might want to start a wiki in your first language too.

Hausa is the most widely spoken indigenous West African language. Many people speak it as a second trade language in addition to English, French, their own first languages etc. It's not really disputable.

Not to mention the 2nd most frequent African language taught in Colleges/Universities after Swahili.
