I will venture to say that the title of "fine boy" is more an insult than a form of praise. It is usually delivered in a sarcastic way. I say this as a first party recipient of that title, back when I was a peniless student, doing athletics to keep fit, being surrounded by girls who were more interested in showing me off to their friends as a trophy, and finding excuses when "anything else" came up. (vagueness intentional)
Now I'm working and somehow I ended up PAID. No more working out so i have an ugly pot belly and my muscles are hidden beneath flab, if they still exist at all. My family is the 'baby-faced' kind, so with facial hair that i can't be bothered to shave, I'm no longer a 'fine boy'. But what the hell. I have a flash ride and money to throw around. I'm not exactly 'old' yet, but i see what my 'old' bosses enjoy...and in their league I'm still a 'small boy' anyway.
Guess when all the chicks that had been posing for years finally decided to gel. Hah. I am now a cynical bastard to the end.
