Pictures of Lagos Skyline (City-Scape)
« on: December 23, 2005, 11:12 PM »

OK here is something very important to me.  How come I cannot find any current pictures online of the present day Lagos Skyline?  I mean the central business district area and V.I.

Every city here in the states have beautiful skyline pictures online. I wish the guys back home can post current pics for me and the rest of the people that visit this forum.  Please don't post 1960 era photos; I mean present day Lagos with any current high-rises that have been constructed.

Bro those are just amazing pics. The one that got my jaws to drop was Ethiopia. Do you remember in the 80's when the had that feed the children thing, you would think Ethiopia is just this barren land.

Thanks to all for showing FINALLY pictures. We need to show to the outside world that Naija is also beautiful, that we are hard-working and clever people and not 2something stupid2 the western media portrayS. If we africans don´t BEGIN TO invest in marketing (what Asia is currently doing) NOBODY will do it for us!

Why are there so few pictures on Lagos skyline to be found on the internet, on its projects, also about Abuja. Go and visit skyscrapercity.com (the world´s largett page for construction and news, for presentation of countries), it is visited by thousands of people daily, people from allover discuss and show their cities THEY DO BRANDING!!!, THE SHOW THEIR PROJECTS (I WAS REALLY AMAZED). There is also a small African section but virtually no Nigerians are there to portray our country and cities Cry whereas the South African section is big and people discuss about it a lot. Same for Asia or South America but our continent as a whole is absent again.  :'(please go and visit that site. It is fabulous!
