@shutmouth I strongly doubt it was a political gimmick. This has proven Yaradua might not be up to he task as many have stated. It might be a "Spritual/Jazz" Gimmick Sha. That one i don't know!

Whether he is alive or not, he cannot run for the presidency. We can't have a situation whereby every 2 or 3 days we get stories that the president has collapsed and might be dead! It would destabilize the country!

when he finally comes back to Nigeria, he should advocate for better hospitals and facilities, so that those who can't afford to be flown abroad will also survive in related cases.
this is a lesson for whosoever will be the pesident of Nigeria, let him have in my mind that God is not sleeping in this Nigeria
this is a warning sign

I am no doctor but chronic kidney failure which is what umaru has is not curable. The only options available to him are constant dialysis and kidney translplant. Once your kidneys start the downward slide, it can no longer be reversed. You can slow the progression by dietiing habbits though.

Yar'adua situation reminds me of Abacha, about a year before he joined his ancestors, the media was awash with stories that he was sick, what did he do? sending seargeant Rogers after Journalists, now it's Yar'Adua's turn, he's busy inviting people to a squash contest.
