The initial title of this thread sounds rather disrespectful to the ladies,that said since joining this community I often wonder. I wonder where these sort of people have been all my life and if they are for real going by the posts here.Many years ago when I was the same age as the starter of this thread I used to have female friend and many of my friends(guys) used to yab me for being an "escort" i.e following girls around and not getting any "show". My answer was always she is my friend (platonic) and I don,t expect anything physical . Its only when I got married that I now avoid female friends so as not to get into trouble( nobody will believe you no dey take).
What I am getting at is what is the definition of girlfriend by your understanding?
Is she your friend who happens to be a girl?
Is she someone you feel physically attracted to or
Is she someone you love and want to get married to?
At 21 years, these need to be put into perspective before crucifying the young man as some people here want to.
I am saying this because at that age, myself and a lot of people I know( both boys and girls) got seriously messed up over this matter of "lets go out but I am not doing it" i.e. later you find out some else has been taking care of business for you.
The relationship needs to be defined from onset, that way nobody gets hurt .
