Could "Okala" be the contracted form of a longer word in Onicha Igbo? As in someone's surname: Emeka Okala. Someone is asking me.

Yeah,e nwere  Okala family na onicha.a maghim ihe d name putara mana i have heard of it na mbu.Dika aha,the pronounciation differs,there is stress on the "O".
Echelon,ufodu aha ndi Osha na aza na eziokwu ,nkowa ya di egwu.ihe dika "okosi" ,"agusiobo" etc am yet to get their meanings.  Sad

I am yet to come to terms with the translation of "ibi" and "ofo otuto" as gastritis is not afo otuto.
