Agbisi:    "Ya buru na ndi di ndu na esi isi otua na obodo unu, agaghi na eku ume, ma oburu na otu na ime unu nwuo. (If the living beings smell so badly in your kingdom, I wonder if people would breath, should one of you smelly things die there.)

The name sounds "Hausa". So I was thinking you have some links there.

But come to think of it, something must have made u choose the name, even if it's a nickname?

For example, echelon was my nickname in school, which friends started calling me after our year 2 maths that dealt with "matrices".

"ruru" as used here means "does well" as in grows big tubers/seeds and not "gets soft" which applies to ube (pear)

Let me get you right. You meant:

Nwa nnunu bere na ngige no n'egwu, ngige na onye ya nokwa n'egwu
As the bird that perched on the rope/line is dancing, the rope itself is dancing  Wink

This proverb was used in the media to describe the Chris Uba/ Chris Ngige Saga in Anambra State. Chris Uba was the "Nwa nnunu" while Chris Ngige, of course, was the "Ngige"
