hi people, lets learn to be positive in life, don't see things from the angle of half empty but from the angle of abundance and then God who rewards justly will reward us all.
i don't know anybody in first bank but i was invited, all my colleagues were not invited and i feel their pain , it is not the end of the world and i believe in the fact that all things work together for good to them that love HIM and who are called according to HIS purpose so just BELIEVE, the best is yet to COME
meanwhile who knows what the test is like
love you all

I also applied online for the test,i don't know anyone at first bank, naturally,i am not one who is down with bank jobs, but when the site was sent to my box through a friend,i just deided to give it a try,and voila! i was invited.I only went to their site yesterday when i had just 10mins left of my net time, and was shocked to see the invitation.I could have missed it you know, so ,please those of you who think that u have to know someone in this life before u can make it should disabuse their minds from such thoughts.Always be positive in all ur life endeavours.

I do not agree with you. I do not know anybody in 1st bank yet i was shortlisted for the test. please let us learn to encourage people to do their best rather than criticising them unnecessarily.
They've done their best, Its not the worst that can happen to you. Just hope for the best. i wish you luck.

don't feel sad about firstbank.the trust is that its one of the few place where everyone is given equal start and one of the most consistant in recruitment in this country.since 1999 they have been employing nothing less than 650 graduates without retrenchment and i am proud to say i am among those that know nobody but are still existing in the bank.so keep your fingers cross and be hopeful and there is no regrate with first bank

I think its a fraud. I applied with a HND Lower Credit, 26years of age, but was not called , & i know of some 1 with thesame that was invited.

I think age, grade as a lot to do in the selection.

But does it now mean all those that were invited are university graduates with minimum of 2.2, also HND graduates with a minimum of Upper Credit.

Definitely the answer to the above is NO, Angry Angry Angry if we have fresh graduates numbering thousands with the correct minimum requirement like the above, lying fallow in this country then really our tertiary institutions should b checked 4 lack of good entreprenueral upbringing, only book, book, book,

U and I know that we don't have such a very high number of graduants with 1st class, 2.1, HND Upper Credit, in this country. Only 2.2 & Lower Credit

Anyway we go survive Sha Wink Wink Wink

Fellow Nairalanders, i quite agree with you that not everybody was invitedfor the 1st bank test. It is embarassing as big as 1st bank. But another question is do they need to do like intercontinental. No. what we need is prayer and Gods. yours is coming.

do not despair or be irrationally emotional if you were not invited for the test

i do not know anyone in first bank

but i was invited for the test

i did my best and prayed to my GOD

and a few days ago,i was invited for the interview

please be positive and prayerful

at this point of your life, that is exactly what you need

see you at the top
