Speaking of marriage, what would a Nigeria family think of their eldest son in the USA marrying an American woman?

Am neither American nor European, am dating and soon to be married to a Yoruba man, will it be really upsetting to his family?

Upsetting to his family because he is marrying a non-Nigerian ? Why do you think it might upset his family ? Have you asked your fiancee about this ?

As a white American I asked how his family and countrymen would take to me when we travel to Nigeria. His answer was simple, they will know you are well loved.
Pretty sweet!! I can't imagine that everyone will collapse!!
Keep the faith.

I only asked bcuz previous post said, "they will collapse". I haven't gotten any sign of disapproval, but it's always nice to know what to expect or what not to.
